Description

A model lung demonstrates how the respiratory system, specifically the lungs and diaphragm, work together during inhalation and exhalation. A simple model, like a bottle with a balloon inside and a second balloon at the bottom, represents the chest cavity, lungs, and diaphragm, illustrating how changes in pressure due to diaphragm movement cause the lungs to inflate and deflate.
