Description
the Bohr atomic model describes electrons orbiting a central nucleus in fixed, circular paths called energy levels or shells, similar to planets orbiting the sun. Each shell has a specific energy, with inner shells having lower energy than outer shells. Electrons cannot exist between these shells and will jump to a higher or lower shell by absorbing or emitting energy, respectively
