Description

In a school chemistry lab, copper turnings are primarily used in the copper turnings test to identify the presence of nitrate ions. Students also use them to demonstrate chemical properties, redox reactions, and the concept of reactivity series through hands-on experiments. The high surface area of turnings makes them effective for these visible and quick chemical demonstrations
